Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

Welcome to the Capital

  • Arrival: Guests meet at the designated airport at the scheduled time.

  • Transfer: Our professional tour coordinator will assist with check-in and all necessary departure procedures. After arriving in Beijing, you will be transferred to the hotel for rest.

  • Meals:

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Beijing (4-star or 5-star).


Day 2: Imperial Beijing

The Forbidden City & Hutongs

  • Morning: Begin your day by driving to Tiananmen Square, followed by a visit to the Palace Museum (Forbidden City).

    • Note: Includes complimentary audio headset and shuttle. The museum is closed on Mondays.

    • The Highlight: Visit the world’s largest and most well-preserved wooden architectural complex. Walk through the courtyards to feel the imperial grandeur of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

  • Afternoon: Continue to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street and visit Jingshan Park for a panoramic view.

  • Special Activity: Enjoy an Old Beijing Hutong tour by traditional rickshaw to experience local life.

Day 3: The Great Wall & Olympics

Ancient Wonders & Modern Marvels

  • Morning: Visit the Juyongguan Great Wall.

    • Inclusions: Shuttle service and round-trip cable car ride are included.

    • The Highlight: Known for its strategic importance and commanding scenery, this pass proves the saying: “He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true hero”.

  • Afternoon: Exterior visit to the Beijing National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), the main venue for the 2008 Summer and 2022 Winter Olympics.

  • Meals:

    • Breakfast: Hotel Buffet

    • Dinner Special: Local Hotpot (Shuan Yangrou).


Day 4: Royal Gardens

Summer Palace & Old Summer Palace

  • Morning: Head to the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the western suburbs.

    • The Highlight: A masterpiece of Chinese garden design, centered around Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. It is divided into political, residential, and scenic areas.

  • Afternoon: Continue to the Old Summer Palace (Yuanmingyuan).

    • The Highlight: Once called the “Garden of All Gardens,” this vast complex was a pinnacle of garden art before its destruction.

  • Meals:

    • Breakfast: Hotel Buffet

    • Dinner Special: Peking Roast Duck.


Day 5: Spiritual Heritage

Lama Temple & Prince Gong Mansion

  • Morning: Visit the Lama Temple (Yonghegong).

    • History: Originally the mansion of Prince Yong (Emperor Yongzheng), it became a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in 1744. It features yellow glazed tiles, usually reserved for the emperor, because two emperors were born here.

  • Afternoon: Visit Prince Gong Mansion, the largest princely residence of the Qing Dynasty, famously the home of the corrupt official Heshen and later Prince Gong.

    • Finish the day with a leisure tour of the Shichahai lake area.

  • Meals:

    • Breakfast: Hotel Buffet

Day 6: Temple of Heaven & Departure

Prayer for Harvests

  • Morning: Visit Temple of Heaven Park.

    • History: Built in 1420, this is where Ming and Qing emperors performed solemn rituals to pray to Heaven for abundant harvests.

  • Departure: After the tour, transfer to the airport for your flight home.

  • Meals:

    • Breakfast: Hotel Buffet

    • Lunch: Standard group meal OR (Optional) Upgraded Local specialty meal

    • Dinner: Not included.

  1. Accommodation: 5 Nights in local 4-star or 5-star hotels (Ctrip 3–4 Diamond).

    • Note: Based on twin-sharing (2 people/room). Single supplement applies for solo travelers. Transit hotels (if needed) are arranged by the airport and may not have a star rating.

  2. Dining: 5 Breakfasts + 10 Main Meals.

    • Dietary Requests: Halal or vegetarian meals can be arranged (please request in advance; may incur extra cost).

       
  3. Transport: Air-conditioned tour bus (1 seat per person).

  4. Tickets: All entrance tickets listed in the itinerary.

    • Special Inclusions: Forbidden City Audio Headset, Great Wall Cable Car & Shuttle, Hutong Rickshaw Ride.

       
  5. Guide: Professional Tour Leader and English-speaking local guide.

  6. Insurance: Travel agency liability insurance and attraction accident insurance.

  7. Water: 1 complimentary bottle of water per person per day.

Price Excludes

  1. Tipping: USD $5 per person/day (Total USD $30 for 6 days).

  2. Upgrades: Upgraded local specialty meals (unless specified).

  3. Personal Expenses: Personal accident insurance (recommended).

Important Notes

  • Child Policy: Children 12+ must occupy a bed (+USD $100). Children under 12 sharing a bed (+USD $60).

  • Cancellation: No refunds for voluntary cancellation. Last-minute cancellations charged based on actual losses.

  • Green Policy: Hotels do not provide disposable toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste) due to environmental regulations. Please bring your own.

  • Shopping: Guides may offer local specialties for sale on the bus. Purchase is optional and never forced.

  • Force Majeure: The itinerary may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.
